Kicking off a new day with Dann’s “Rockman Jump” 😎!
In the cycling world, this move is known as a bunny hop,
but it looks exactly like the Rockman jump from classic video games!
Even better—@dann_huang’s bike, a 2004–07 Giant TCR T-Mobile export model from @giantbicycles,
happens to have the perfect Rockman color scheme.
No surprise—it belongs to a true Mega Man fan!
The original plan was to ride up from Balaka to Erziping,
but due to poor weather and friends needing to rush home for family duties,
the ride got “reluctantly shortened” to a simple out-and-back to Danshui–Jinshan (淡金).
That said, it actually helped us dodge heavy rain in Shilin.
The riverside path on the way back was completely soaked,
and the only thing wetter than the road were the backs of our fellow “reluctant riders” sprinting through the spray.
Those who know, know—
this is the humble joy of a weekend morning ride, just for the boys.
