Digital Art Music series:“Through the Veil”｜穿越面紗

When I first saw her artwork, I instantly imagined vintage electronic sounds.

Her concept was built around three elements: an alternate dimension, a girl, and a bird.

So for the sound palette, I chose many retro-inspired tones—

For example, the kick and snare are based on jazz drum kits, layered with soft electronic textures.


The veil in the title represents the mystery of another world,

so for the synths, I selected sounds that evoke a distant, unseen presence.

I played a simple, fragile melody with unstable waveforms and pitch,

symbolizing the constant shifts and fluctuations within that hidden dimension. 生日這天選擇發佈一個自己很喜歡的作品，是和 ChuChun 一起共同創作的 Digital Art Music 系列：Through the Veil 穿越面紗｜Like a bird, she’ll carry me, through the veils of mystery. 像鳥兒一樣，她會帶著我，穿過神秘的面紗。


最初看到她畫的這張圖，直覺腦中就浮現復古電子音樂，她的構思來自異空間、女孩、鳥，這三個元素，因此我在音色上選了很多復古的元素，像是大鼓和小鼓都選擇了以爵士鼓為基底的音色，再用電子音色墊襯一下。也因為神秘的面紗象徵異空間，所以在合成器的部分，選了比較能代表神秘一種在遠處的力量，彈奏也以簡單的旋律，配上不穩定的波形和音高，代表著一直不斷變化的波動。
